The Spenco® Silicore® Wheelchair Pad helps make any wheelchair more comfortable by reducing pressure in critical areas of your body.
Hollow core construction prevents fibers from matting, thus dispersing pressure over a greater area, lowering vulnerability to pressure sore development.
Soft-Tex Denier Nylon is a soft, pliable material with a very low shear and excellent fluid resistant properties. This combination of softness and low shear will help reduce further injury to the skin. Reversible for those times when moisture resistance is necessary.
The breathable cotton/polyester fabric is fully washable, dryable, and radio-translucent. Spenco® Silicore® Padding Products pass the requirements described in 16 CFR Part 1632 Standard for the Flammability of Pads and Mattress Pads, (FF-72, Amended).
